SMRT Corporation Ltd and STRIDES were delighted to host our distinguished RTSO Partners from PRASARANA MALAYSIA BERHAD Board of Directors and senior management on their two day visit to Singapore.
Such visits not only give us a chance to share knowledge and our latest innovations in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and commuter experience, but to also reaffirms our close friendship and collaboration in our Project, the RTS Link.
Such visits not only give us a chance to share knowledge and our latest innovations in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and commuter experience, but to also reaffirms our close friendship and collaboration in our Project, the RTS Link.
The RTS Link is an initiative by both the Malaysia and Singapore governments to make it easier, more efficient and accessible to cross one of the busiest inter-country borders in the world, between Singapore and Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The Immigrations, Customs and Quarantine facilities will be co-located at the two stations at both ends of the RTS Link. When ready, the RTS Link would be able to carry 10,000 Passengers Per Hour Per Direction (or PPHPD).
It is a fulfilling journey to jointly plan, supervise and implement the design, build, and future O&M of this landmark cross-border project. We look forward to bring the RTS Link to Singaporeans and Malaysians in the very near future.
